**Statement from EU Representatives Clarifies Decision**
A statement by the European Union representatives has made it clear that a decision to suspend cooperation does not affect students, researchers, and academic staff. This was stated by Aleksandre Tsuladze, Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Youth.
Tsuladze was responding to news from the German Embassy that Germany is suspending cooperation with Georgia’s Ministry of Education. The statement from Germany said this suspension only applies to future cooperation between the two ministries.
**Cooperation for Students and Researchers Remains Unchanged**
According to Tsuladze, this means that exchange programs like Erasmus+ and DAAD will continue as usual. These programs allow students, researchers, and academic staff to participate in international projects and study abroad.
Tsuladze also expressed shock at the motivations behind Germany’s decision. He hinted that he would discuss these further in a later statement.
