**Russia Attacks Kropyvnytskyi, Injuring 8 People**
Russia launched a big attack on the city of Kropyvnytskyi in Ukraine overnight. The attack was one of the biggest in recent years and injured eight people, including a child.
The regional governor, Andriy Raykovych, said that over 20 Russian drones were used to strike homes and residential buildings. Three people had to be taken to hospital, with one person in critical condition.
**Damage to Railway Infrastructure**
The attack also damaged the railway infrastructure in Kropyvnytskyi. Emergency services are working at the scene to help those affected.
Kropyvnytskyi is a city of around 220,000 people and is the administrative center of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine.
**Increased Drone Attacks**
This attack was not an isolated incident. Russia has been launching drone attacks on various cities across Ukraine since its full-scale invasion began. The number of drones used in each attack has increased in recent months, with up to 200 drones being deployed at a time.
In fact, Russian forces plan to increase their capabilities even further, aiming to launch at least 500 drones per aerial attack against Ukraine.
