Ana Natsvlishvili is one of the leaders in the “Strong Georgia Party”. She stated that changing the government was the only way to make Georgia a strong country and a member of European Union.
She argued that a new government that puts the interests of Georgians first should replace the current one, which, she claimed, serves Russian interests.
Natsvlishvili said that the “Georgian Dream”, as he called it, is now in isolation on the international stage. He cited three important European Union events that have focused on Georgia in recent weeks.
“We are seeing that three of the most important events taking place in the European Union this month are dedicated to Georgia. Today, there will be an hearing and a meeting between foreign ministers. All of this shows that the current Georgian government is not expected to change anything for the better. The top officials of the European Union have already stated very publicly that they will not invite “Georgian Dream”, to the meetings. The only way for Georgians to join the European Union is through the October 26th elections. Natsvilishvili stated that this is the last chance for every Georgian citizen to join the European Union.
