**Thugs Attack Students in Serbia**
Two groups of students were beaten by thugs armed with baseball bats in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. The attacks happened late at night outside the offices of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
**Students Seriously Injured**
A girl student was seriously hurt during one of the attacks. She has a dislocated jaw and is badly bruised all over her body. Several other students were treated for lighter injuries.
**Students Were Posting Stickers**
The students were putting up stickers saying “3 Months, 3 Bridges”. This refers to plans to block three bridges in Novi Sad where 15 people died on November 1 when a concrete awning collapsed at the railway station.
**Thugs Started Fight**
The thugs started fighting with the students after one of them put a sticker on a garbage can outside the SNS offices. A video of the attack was recorded by a student, but it was deleted when her phone was taken from her.
**Police and Hospital Didn’t React**
An N1 reporter in Novi Sad said that the police and hospital didn’t immediately comment on the attacks. The students were chased down the street, beaten, kicked, and even run over with a car.
