**Heavy Fighting in Ukraine**
Over 35,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded in November. Despite this, Ukraine continues to fight back against relentless Russian attacks.
The situation on the Ukrainian front lines is getting worse. There are now over 150,000 Russian troops concentrated along three main directions in eastern Ukraine. These troops are trying to capture key locations like the city of Pokrovsk and Kurakhove.
**Russia’s Heavy Losses**
Nazar Voloshyn, a spokesperson for Ukraine’s forces, says that Russia has suffered significant losses during its offensives. In November alone, over 35,000 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded in eastern Ukraine.
Voloshyn also highlighted that more than 8,000 Russian troops were lost in the past week. He emphasized that these losses are a result of Ukrainian forces holding back Russia’s advance on multiple fronts.
**Ukraine Holds Ground**
Despite Russia’s heavy efforts, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold ground. They have managed to stabilize the defensive line and prevent Russia from taking control of key locations like Kurakhove.
Russian troops are trying to break through to the outskirts of Kurakhove settlement, but Ukrainian forces are holding their positions. The city remains under Ukrainian control, with any infiltrating Russian groups being promptly neutralized.
**Russia’s Plan**
Voloshyn explained that Russian forces are trying to take dominant heights and control roads leading to Kurakhove in order to breach the city’s defenses. They are also using heavy firepower to target the city.
However, Ukrainian forces are holding back against these attacks, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment.
