The Ukrainian National Guard‘s Azov Brigade has introduced Croatian RAK-SA-12 rocket launchers in the Toretsk sector of Donetsk Oblast. This lightweight, mobile system is designed for rapid deployment and effective engagement against enemy forces.
Russian forces are advancing in the area, but the Ukrainian military is fighting back. Despite sustaining heavy losses, they continue to target Russian positions. The Azov Brigade has reported using the RAK-SA-12 rocket launcher in active combat operations.
The RAK-SA-12 was developed in the early 1990s and is a modified version of the Yugoslav M-63 Plamen MRL. It can fire over long distances, between 800 and 8,500 meters, making it a powerful tool on the battlefield.
