**Opposition Politician Speaks Out on Government Claims**
Commenting on the departure of former General Director of the Co-Investment Fund, Giorgi Bachiashvili, opposition politician Bacho Dolidze said that the government’s claim that he left the country unnoticed is “nonsense”.
Dolidze said that if someone had an illegal item just 5 centimeters in size in their car, they couldn’t take it across the border. He questioned who the government was trying to fool and claimed that there were people who facilitated Bachiashvili’s departure.
**Protests and Government Response**
Dolidze also spoke about the ongoing protests in Tbilisi, noting that the government is not in an easy position. He said that the country is in a “very difficult political situation” which is neither easy for Georgian Dream nor for the protestors.
Regarding the violent attack against employees of “Crab Coffee”, Dolidze stated that it was unlikely to be a coincidence and suggested it may have been connected to the protests. He noted that anyone who has participated in civil activism has faced some kind of retaliation.
**Government Propaganda**
Dolidze criticized the government’s propaganda efforts, saying that people were paying too much attention to them. He described this as “political autism” and said that the only place where government propaganda had worked was on the war and peace narrative.
**Challenging Government Claims**
According to Dolidze, Georgian Dream is not in an easy position, with internal issues and a difficult foreign policy situation. He doubted that if a poll were conducted today, the government’s rating would be high.
