Protest March Held for Mzia Amaglobeli and Political Prisoners
A protest march was held in Georgia today. The goal of the march is to save the life of Mzia Amaglobeli, a well-known journalist.
Mzia Amaglobeli has been on a hunger strike for 19 days. Her health condition is very bad, and she might die soon. The government does not seem to care about her situation. They have made some sarcastic comments about her, which shows that they do not value human life.
The march was organized by the group Strong Georgia. They are demanding the release of political prisoners who were arrested during a peaceful protest. The people taking part in the march know the names and surnames of those who are still locked up. They want these people to be freed because they want Georgia to become a free and European country.
Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of Strong Georgia, said that today’s protest is very important. He wants to remind everyone that Mzia Amaglobeli’s life is in danger, and something needs to be done about it.
