Investigation into Election Fraud
Badri Japaridze, a member of the “Strong Georgia” party, has been called to testify in an investigation into possible election fraud. The prosecutor wants him to talk about it.
Japaridze says he will only tell his story in front of a judge. He claims that the prosecutor’s office doesn’t want to investigate the real issue – election fraud. Instead, they just want to pretend to be investigating and then say there is no proof.
Japaridze thinks this is unfair. He believes the prosecutor should already have all the information they need and shouldn’t need him or other politicians to tell them what happened.
