**Nations Step Up Support for Ukraine**
The leaders of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, and Sweden met in Harpsund on November 27. They agreed to give more help to Ukraine as it fights against Russia‘s full-scale war.
These countries have been strong supporters of Ukraine since the start of the conflict. They provide military aid, money, and humanitarian help to Kyiv.
The leaders made a joint statement. They said that Ukraine must be able to defeat Russia’s aggression and achieve peace. To do this, they will increase their support in the coming months.
This includes helping Ukraine’s defense industry and providing more ammunition. The announcement comes at a critical time as Russian forces are making gains in eastern Ukraine.
The countries described Russia as the biggest threat to their security. They want to expand sanctions against Moscow and strengthen their defenses against attacks.
