**European Nations Increase Support for Ukraine**
Seven European countries have agreed to boost their military aid to Ukraine. The decision was made by the leaders of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.
The group, which includes Poland as one of the largest donors, met in Sweden and promised to do more to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression. They want to strengthen Ukrainian defenses and make sure they have enough ammunition.
The countries are concerned about Russia’s actions and see it as a threat to their own security. They condemn Russia’s “illegal war of aggression” and promise to take action against its aggressive behavior.
**Russia’s Advances**
This decision comes after reports that Russia has made significant gains in Ukraine, the most since 2022 when the invasion began. Russia also recently used an intermediate-range missile for the first time, targeting Dnipro.
The countries are taking a strong stance against Russian actions and are committed to helping Ukraine.
