**Seven Killed in Russian Missile Attack on Ukraine City**

**Russia Fired Ballistic Missile, Officials Say**
Zaporizhzhia regional head Ivan Fedorov says Russia fired a ballistic missile, likely an Iskander. The Russian defence ministry has not commented on the attack.
Fedorov vowed that Russia would pay for “every Ukrainian life taken and mutilated”. He also declared a day of mourning in the Zaporizhzhia region on Wednesday.
**Ukraine Asks Allies for Air Defence Systems**
President Volodymyr Zelensky has reiterated Ukraine’s plea to its Western allies to provide more advanced air defence systems. He said Ukraine does not have enough systems to protect itself from Russian missile and drone attacks.
**Separate Drone Attack Hits UN Convoy**
In a separate incident, Ukraine and Russia accused each other of launching a drone attack on a convoy of vehicles carrying experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). One of the IAEA cars was severely damaged, but no one was injured. The agency condemned the attack as “unacceptable”.
