**Belgrade Grammar Schools to Suspend Classes**
The Forum of Belgrade Grammar Schools has decided not to hold classes on Monday, January 20. Instead, the schools will use this day for “union and protest activities”.
The decision was made because the Forum’s members are unhappy with how their representatives in major education unions reached an agreement with the Serbian Government. They feel like they have been deceived again.
**Solidarity and Protest**
The Forum’s Executive Board met on Thursday to discuss the situation. Ana Dimitrijevic, a deputy head of the union, explained that there will be no classes on Monday as a sign of support for colleagues from the Third Belgrade Grammar School. These teachers received threats from unknown individuals during school blockades organized by senior students.
The Forum also wants to show solidarity with students who have been victims of threats and attacks.
**Call to Action**
The Forum is calling on all education workers to join a protest outside the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade at 11 am on Monday. What happens after this day depends on how the mood among members and colleagues changes.
