The Rector of , Vladan Djokic, is urging people calm down before a protest in the city March 15. He wants everyone to help prevent violence.

Mr. Djokic told reporters that students and many members of the university are worried about the possibility of violence during the protest. “We want this event to be peaceful,” he said. This is similar to earlier at major universities, which were also calm.

The Rector recalled that none of the students who organized the protest asked for violence. He urged everyone to behave reasonably and with dignity on March 15.

Mr. Djokic was also asked about plans to resume classes, which have been suspended due to protests. He said that there is still time to do this over the next few weeks. All colleges are planning to have compressed classes by the end of the academic year.
