Hotel Staff Not Sharing Video of Attack
The staff at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel have not given a video of an attack on Giorgi Gakharia to For Georgia party members. The party wants to see the video and believes it should be shared under the “Law on Personal Data Protection“.
Party Executive Secretary Berdia Sichinava says they are in touch with the hotel’s headquarters. They provided information about the attack and how the hotel staff acted.
A hotel representative said it would take 10 working days to get the video, which has raised suspicions that they might be hiding something.
The party demands that the video is shared now, without any delay. They believe the hotel staff did not do enough to stop the attack on their premises. The fact that they took so long to release the video footage also raises questions about whether they are under pressure.
The people who carried out the attack are still hiding and have not been held accountable. The party is committed to making sure those responsible face justice.
The party also supports people who were arrested by Ivanishvili, and will keep fighting until victory is achieved.
