US President Joe Biden Condemns Russian Aerial Assault on Ukraine.
US President Joe Biden has spoken out against Russia‘s Christmas Day attack on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. The White House reported that Mr. Biden had ordered the Department of Defense to keep sending weapons to Ukraine.
Russia fired dozens of missiles and 100 explosive drones at Ukrainian targets early on Christmas morning. The US government said this was an attempt to cut off heat and electricity for Ukrainian people during winter, putting their safety at risk.
Mr. Biden’s decision means that the US will continue to supply Ukraine with military aid in response to Russia’s actions.
