I met with foreigners today. They are surprised by the results we have achieved over the past few years. – Honorary Chairman of “Georgian Dream” BidzinaIvanishvili, said at an event held at “Georgian Dream”, after the results of the exit poll “Gorbi“.
Ivanishvili thanked the voters of the “Georgian Dream”.
“We welcome you, and I’d like to thank the community gathered together and to the entire Georgia, our voters who have faithfully and honestly followed us for the fourth elections. It is rare that a party can achieve such success in a difficult environment – it is a testament to the talent of Georgians. I assure you, and I assure my voters, that it is clear there are countries richer than Georgia, that they have a longer democratic system than us. But our society is no less than any other rich country in this regard, in terms of who they should be voting for.
I can assure you that our country will be very successful in the next four to five years. We will do a great deal, and in four more years Georgia will be one of the most successful nations. Not because we are begging people with ratings now. We will certainly be grateful for this trust.
I believe that the team leaders who are present today are the best of our community. The Prime Minister has everything – credibility, education and culture. I see that we have many successful people in our team. I am also happy to see so many parliamentarians and athletes. I want you to be aware of one thing: the effort made by “Georgian Dream”, for Georgia, to achieve the best results, will not be diminished. There will be lies, but there won’t be betrayal. Unfortunately, arrogance is often associated with politics. We should use that word too.
