Bidzina ivanishvili is the honorary chairperson of “Georgian Dream.” She harshly criticized Giorgi Gakharia, and members of his political group, “Gakharia For Georgia,” calling on them to be held responsible for their actions, and for aligning with opposition narratives.
Ivanishvili expressed frustration at Gakharia and Gakharia’s party, claiming that they now echo and even go beyond the rhetoric of opposition “National Movement“. He said that standing with Gakharia would result in judgment and accountability both for him and his members.
Ivanishvili said that the party’s alleged alignment to narratives that could lead Georgia to conflict was a serious offence, and he believes it deserves severe punishment. He said that the necessary evidence had already been prepared for the court.
“We have sorted out all the documents on the court level and they will be held accountable.” If they are impersonating and repeating the narratives of the “National Movement,” they deserve a harsh punishment, and I can assure you that they will receive it.
