According to reports, the German Ministry of Defense doubts that Ukraine will launch an offensive to reclaim their territories in the near future. After delivering 18 Leopard 2, no additional heavy equipment, such as infantry fighting vehicle, armored personal carriers, or self-propelled cannons, are planned, despite having around 300 Leopard tanks at the Bundeswehr’s disposal.
Militarnyi says that this is likely to apply only to Bundeswehr stocks. Future deliveries will be made through contracts with Germany’s defense industry. The company has committed to providing new heavy armor and artillery for Ukraine until 2028.
