**Germany Gives Ukraine New Drones**
Ukraine is about to get new high-tech drones from Germany. These “Mini-Taurus” drones can be controlled by an operator, but they also have artificial intelligence (AI) that helps them find their targets on their own.
The German government is funding the delivery of 4,000 of these drones to Ukraine. They are being made by a company called Helsing, which has been working with Ukraine since 2022. The drones are cheaper than some foreign models and can fly further, making them useful for targeting Russian tanks.
**New Drones Can Help Ukraine**
The Ukrainian military is using kamikaze drones like Iranian Shaheds to target Russian cities and troops. Russia also uses such drones against Ukraine’s forces. But the new Mini-Taurus drones are more advanced and can resist GPS jamming, which makes it harder for enemies to control them.
**Germany Supports Ukraine**
Germany’s Defense Minister, Boris Pistorius, said he is happy that the delivery of these new drones is starting now. This comes after a recent Russian attack on Ukraine. France has also announced that it will deliver its own kamikaze drones, called Colibris, to Ukraine in the coming months.
