**Media Outlets Join Strike Support of Students**

N1 is participating in a general strike today. The media outlet has decided to solely on the strike and , showing solidarity with students who are fighting for a more just society.

“We want to stand with the weaker side,” said N1 Program Igor Bozic. “ now, that side is the citizens who can’t exercise their rights, especially after the tragedy in .”

Other media outlets such as Nova TV and Danas daily have also joined the strike. The decision was made in response to a call from the for Media Freedom.

**Government Officials Criticize Strike**

The Information and Telecommunications Ministry has said that the strike is against the law. However, Bozic disagrees. “Every media outlet has the right to decide what it believes it needs to do,” he said.

Some government officials have even asked people not to watch N1 or Nova TV. “This shows a demonstration of force and arrogance in a very tragic situation our society has found itself in,” said Bozic.
