Ukraine’s Air Defense in Jeopardy
Most of Ukraine’s air defense systems and spy capabilities come from the US. Europe doesn’t have a strong enough defense industry to quickly replace these assets.
Europe is working on making more artillery shells, however. The EU has already made one million 155mm shells per year. They are planning to make two million shells annually by mid-2025.
Experts warn that Europe cannot fully replace the US military supplies given to Ukraine.
