**Canada Pledges $305 Million in Military Aid to Ukraine**
Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair announced that Canada will provide an additional $305 million (CAD $440 million) in military assistance to Ukraine. This support includes:
* $138 million (CAD $200 million) for Czechia’s initiative to procure and deliver large-calibre ammunition to Ukraine.
* $35 million (CAD $50 million) to purchase various calibres of ammunition from Canadian manufacturers.
* $70 million (CAD $100 million) for the Danish Model, which supports Ukraine’s domestic production of military drones.
**Ukraine’s Defense Efforts**
Since February 2022, Canada has provided over $3.1 billion (CAD $4.5 billion) in military assistance to Ukraine. This support includes advanced weaponry, drones, and vehicles. The Canadian government has also delivered:
* Approximately 11,500 rounds of large-calibre ammunition.
* 900 Canadian-built SkyRanger drones, with 560 already reaching Ukraine.
**Global Response**
The international community continues to respond to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Leaders from various countries are meeting at the Ramstein summit in Germany to discuss ways to strengthen Ukraine’s defenses.
