Carrefour’s expansion continues: New hypermarket opens in Rustavi

, owned by Majid al Futtaim and operated in Georgia, continues to expand its presence in the country, this time with the opening of a new hypermarket at Rustavi.
The new store opened on December 2, next to the Shartava – Lomauri crossing. It now serves customers from 9:30 AM until 10:00 PM. Carrefour provides a wide range of -quality household and food products. These include fresh fruit and vegetables as well as Bio products, baby products, home appliances, household items, beauty products, Carrefour Private Label products, and personal hygiene items.
This is the 57th Carrefour store to across the country. It reinforces Carrefour as a trusted partner communities in Georgia. Carrefour is a major contributor to the growth and prosperity of Georgian economies, as it invests in more job opportunities for locals. The increase in partnerships with , suppliers and producers not only help local businesses grow, but also introduces a unique shopping experience for residents of different parts of the country.

The new store offers a variety of services and allows customers to buy all the items they need for their home in one place. This provides maximum comfort. The store offers fresh, healthy and local products that are sourced directly from local farms.
Carrefour supports Georgian farmers by helping them to promote their products. This was demonstrated by the “Potato Fest” that took place in three different Carrefour shops, where 12 varieties Georgian potatoes were offered in a traditional setting and at the most affordable prices. Carrefour was a great opportunity for Georgian farmers.
The brand’ main focus is to support local agriculture and the . Carrefour employs over 2,500 colleagues in Georgia, and plans to add another 1,200 within the next two or three years. This will not only increase capacity, but also strengthen ties with farmers and suppliers.
