Natia Ioseliani is the spokesperson for the CEC. She has ignored opposition calls to hold a meeting about re-elections and declared that CEC follows legal procedures rather than political agendas. Ioseliani also noted that CEC sessions would proceed after the conclusion of court hearings, district commission reviews and the October 26th elections. She stressed that the CEC places a high priority on election integrity.
The CEC addressed the rumor that the Chair Giorgi Kaandarishvili was hiding. They clarified that he was present and working. They dismissed the rumors.
