According to the CEC as of 17:00, there were 825 129 voters in the country who had cast their ballots, which is 39.5%.
Racha-Lechkhumi has the highest rate of activity – 52.8% – and Mtskheta Mtianeti has the lowest rate – 33.9%.
By 17:00, 38.7% of the population in the capital had voted.
According to the districts, Didube has the highest activity – 43.5% – and Isani has the lowest – 34.3%.
Immediately following the voting process, the counting of votes will begin today at 20:30.
“Once the precinct summaries are compiled, the relevant district electoral commissions will submit them to the CEC as soon as possible. They will then be uploaded onto the special website results.cec.gov.ge immediately after they are received. Anyone can watch the process of summarizing preliminary election results online. The broadcast will be done with 360-degree technology via the CEC Facebook page, Youtube channel and website,” said CEC spokesperson Natia Ioseliani.
