CENN Launches Energy Efficiency Campaign in Rural Georgia
CENN, a non-profit organization, has teamed up with the United Nations Development Programme to start an initiative that promotes energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. This campaign will help people living in rural areas of Georgia learn about these new ways to save energy.
The eight municipalities that are part of this project are Khulo, Keda, Akhalkalaki, Borjomi, Kazbegi, Tetritskaro, Dedoplistskaro, and Lagodekhi. The campaign’s goal is to teach people about the benefits of using energy-efficient products, like thermal ones.
This initiative will not only help these rural areas but also benefit the entire country of Georgia. People from all eight municipalities can participate in activities planned as part of this project if they are interested in learning more about energy efficiency and renewable energy.
The European Union and the United Nations Development Programme have funded this campaign, which is a part of their European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development.
