According to the Georgian officials, this move puts constructive dialogue at risk and further worsens the existing situation. They emphasized that there is no alternative to dialogue and expressed openness to substantive discussions in bilateral or multilateral formats.

The Chairman of the Committee on European Integration, Levan Makhashvili, regretted the decision, saying it undermines the spirit of dialogue and cooperation fundamental principles of the European Union. He called for fact-based arguments and not unfounded accusations and perceptions during discussions.

The Georgian Parliament emphasized its commitment to EU integration, highlighting that Georgia has laid a solid foundation for an irreversibly European future. They stated that their Committee has been harmonizing Georgian legislation with the EU since 2014 and will continue this process to ensure better preparation for EU accession negotiations.
**Concerns over Poland’s Reputation**
The letter also expressed concern over how this decision might affect Poland’s reputation, especially as a former supporter of the Eastern Partnership initiative. It warned that such regrettable decisions could have negative impacts on the partnership and undermine Poland’s geopolitical leadership.
