Protesters in Georgia Face Violence and Detention
There are disturbing reports of protesters being arrested unfairly, beaten, and mistreated. The European Union is speaking out against these actions.
The EU’s chief press spokesperson, Annita Hipper, wrote on a social media platform called X. She said the authorities should stop using too much force and allow people to gather peacefully. Hipper also urged the government to investigate all acts of violence right away.
