**China Denies Joining Ukraine Peacekeeping Mission**
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has denied claims that it is considering joining a possible peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. According to the Global Times, China’s state-run newspaper, the denial was made by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on March 24.
Earlier, German news outlet Die Welt reported on March 22 that Beijing was considering joining the European-led “coalition of the willing” to secure a ceasefire in Ukraine. However, the Chinese government has now stated that these claims are completely untrue.
The peacekeeping mission is led by the UK and France and aims to ensure Ukraine’s security in case of a ceasefire. The mission would involve deploying foreign troops on the ground, as well as aerial and naval support.
**Russia-Ukraine Conflict Continues**
Meanwhile, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues. Firefighters are still battling a fire at an oil depot near the village of Kavkazskaya in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai after a drone attack on March 24.
Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 57 of the 99 Russian drones launched overnight, including Shahed-type attack drones. The attacks also hit multiple high-rise apartment buildings in Kyiv Oblast, causing fires and evacuations. At least two people were killed.
**Peace Talks Underway**
Talks between the US and Ukraine are ongoing, with a meeting between Ukrainian and U.S. delegations taking place in Saudi Arabia on March 23. The meeting aimed to discuss a possible ceasefire in the Black Sea and a broader truce.

**Russian Military Efforts**
