Protest Continues on Rustaveli Avenue
People have been protesting in front of the parliament building for 13 days. They started gathering there yesterday evening at 7pm.
The protesters are now blocking a road, which is why cars can’t move on Rustaveli Avenue. The people are upset about a decision made by “Georgian Dream” last week. They don’t want to talk with the European Union about joining their group until the end of 2028.
The protesters have one demand: they want new elections and for all citizens arrested during the protest to be released. This is what they’ve been asking for from the beginning.
