**Ukrzaliznytsia Cyber Attack: Russian Tactics Used**
The Ukrainian Railways‘ (Ukrzaliznytsia) ticketing system was hacked by a cyberattack. This made the company’s website and app unavailable for some time.
**What Happened**
On March 23, Ukrzaliznytsia said its website and app were not working due to a technical failure. But the next day, they said it was a large-scale cyberattack.
**Russian Tactics Used**
The Ukrainian government‘s cybersecurity official, Yevheniia Nakonechna, said that Russian intelligence services used tactics typical of them in this attack.
**Restoration of Services**
After 89 hours of work, Ukrzaliznytsia restored its website and app. The company sold over 12,000 tickets since then. However, online passenger services are still not fully restored.
**Ukrzaliznytsia Still Recovering**
