**Czech Company Donates €765,000 to Ukraine for Anti-Tank Grenade Launchers**
A Czech company called STV GROUP has given Ukraine €765,000 ($806,664) to buy RPG-7 anti-tank grenade launchers. These are portable rocket launchers that are good against armored vehicles and easy to use.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine says the RPG-7 is very important for Ukrainian forces because it’s an affordable and simple weapon to use. It’s been used to fight Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers, especially in close combat situations where its portability is useful.
A ceremony was held at the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic to mark the donation. The Ukrainian Ambassador said that he believes these grenade launchers will play a significant role in defending Ukraine against the aggressor and protecting human lives.
This isn’t the first time Ukraine has received support from the Czech company. In early October, the ambassador said that Ukraine had already received over one-third of the 500,000 ammunition units set to be delivered under the Czech initiative by year’s end.
