The leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), Ivica Dacic, said that there will be no revolutionary government or new authority in Serbia after the resignation of Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.
In an interview with Prva TV, Dacic emphasized the need for a proper election to choose a government. He expressed skepticism about who could elect a revolutionary or transitional government.
**Options for Serbia**
Dacic outlined two options for Serbia’s current situation:
* To elect a new government within 30 days after the parliament acknowledges the resignation of the prime minister.
* If a government is not formed within that period, the parliament will be dissolved, and elections will be called.
The SPS leader said he doesn’t know which option is more realistic. He noted that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will make a decision after consulting with parliamentary parties.
**No Transitional Government**
Dacic suggested forming a new government instead of calling snap elections to maintain continuity. He added that it is preferable to avoid snap elections in order to maintain stability.
The SPS leader concluded that there will be no transitional or expert government, and President Vucic will not mandate anyone to form such a government.
