The National Wine Agency distributes information about this.
According to them the presentation of Georgian wines at similar large-scale occasions serves to diversify the export markets.
“Within the three day exhibition, Georgian producers of wine had the opportunity to showcase their products to local professionals in the wine industry, which is essential for increasing awareness and exports of Georgian wines.
Tarash Papasqua, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenary Plenipotentiary of Georgia in the Republic of Korea, attended the festival.
The first presentation of Georgian wines in the Republic of Korea was in 2015, at the exhibition “Seoul International Wines and Spirits Expo”. Exports have increased as a result of marketing measures implemented in these years: According to data for the 9th month of this year, 68 000 liters of Georgian wine were exported to the Republic of Korea.
