Today, a meeting of the Georgian Government was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
The Cabinet members met at the Administration of the Government to discuss 21 issues on the agenda.
The Government’s decree on increasing business travel allowances was one of the topics to be discussed. The daily domestic business allowance will increase from 15 GEL up to 30 GEL. Rental accommodation and daily foreign business allowance will be determined individually for each country based on their situation.
“This amendment will ensure maximum compatibility between daily business travel allowances, rental accommodation costs, and the actual situation within the country and overseas.” The new norms will apply both to the public and private sector, where analogous norms are set by the Finance Minister’s ordinance”, announced the Georgian government.
