**Georgia’s Prime Minister Meets with Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association**
The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Davit Asatiani, recently met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze. The meeting was announced by the Georgian Bar Association.

The signing ceremony will take place in Luxembourg in May, and Davit Asatiani is hopeful that Georgia will be one of the first countries to sign.
The Convention on the Protection of the Legal Profession was approved by the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers on March 12. This document aims to strengthen lawyers’ rights and guarantee their professional freedom. It is an important international tool for protecting the independence of the legal profession.
