“Georgian Dream”, a convincing winner the elections of 26, we ask our friends and partners, both internal and external to accept this. Davit Matikashvili, MP for “Georgian Dream”, responded to the visit by the chairmen of relations committees in the parliaments of 8 countries.
As Matikashvili pointed out, instead of understanding reality, the opposition is encouraged after the “bitter loss” of the radicals in the elections.

Members of parliament from our friendly countries violated our country’s legislation by making anti-Georgian remarks, attending rallies, and taking other similar actions. They interfered in pre- process and today, after the radical opposition suffered abysmal defeat in the election, these people returned, offered a lifeline to the radical opposition, and encouraged them.
Diplomacy can be a difficult and tricky job. Any side should think carefully before getting involved in an unacceptable process for either one or the other country.
“Nobody has the right to intervene in cases where they’ not involved. This is an internal political ferment, and the intervention by a politician from another country is counterproductive, and is also prohibited by law,” Matikashvili said.
The of the foreign affairs committees of the parliamentary bodies of Germany, Finland and Sweden, France, and Latvia, Estonia, and Poland are currently in Georgia. Salome Zurabishvili, the president of Georgia, hosted European politicians.
