**Government Warns Against Blackmail**
The government has warned that it will not be blackmailed by certain groups. Davit Matikashvili, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules, made this clear in a statement.
Matikashvili was talking about Mzia Amaglobeli, founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti. She has been on a hunger strike for 38 days. Matikashvili advised her to stop the strike and take care of her health.
The government is worried that radical forces are using Amaglobeli as a way to blackmail them. Matikashvili said this will not work. He called on these groups to stop encouraging Amaglobeli’s hunger strike, which he described as “destruction”.
Matikashvili also emphasized the importance of co-operating with investigations and taking care of one’s own health. He assured that the government is doing its best to protect the health of prisoners, including Amaglobeli.
