**Protests Continue in Tbilisi**
The city of Tbilisi was crowded on the 16th consecutive day of protests. Demonstrators from different groups, such as emigrants, IT workers, and psychologists, marched through the streets to show their opposition.
Different marches converged on the parliament building, bringing traffic to a standstill across the city. The protest caused serious disruption to Tbilisi’s transport system.
**Photos From the Protest**
Photographer Guram Muradov captured moments from the protest. His photos showed demonstrators with banners reading “Schedule New Elections” and “Free Demonstrators from the Regime’s Detention.” Emigrants also marched on Rustaveli Avenue, carrying a banner that read “Georgian Wine‘s Place is in Europe.”
Other photos showed protesters attaching banners to a stage set up by city authorities for a festive inauguration. The banners depicted how many Georgians are emigrants in each Western country.
**General Strike**
As part of an announced one-hour symbolic general strike, workers from different companies left their offices at 1 pm. This added to the chaos caused by the protests.
