Serbia in Mourning after Tragic Fire
The people of Serbia are coming together to pay their respects to the victims of a devastating fire that broke out at a nightclub in North Macedonia. At least 59 people lost their lives and over 150 were hurt.
The government in Belgrade has declared Tuesday a day of mourning. This means that flags will be flown at half-mast on all government buildings, and public events have been cancelled to show respect for those who died.
The fire happened on March 16 at around 3 am at the Puls nightclub in Kocani. It was a terrible tragedy that shocked people across the world. The government of North Macedonia has also declared seven days of mourning to honor the victims.
