Dmitry Peskov says: We are aware of the efforts by Western countries to exert pressure on Georgian authorities, and directly influence the electoral campaign. We do not interfere with Georgia’s internal affairs.  

Dmitry Peskov said during the briefing that we do not interfere with the internal affairs in Georgia.
“We have no business with the elections.” We see the unmasked attempts of Western countries, to exert pressure on the current Georgian government and directly influence the election campaign. Peskov stated that “we do not interfere in Georgian internal affairs and do not intend to.”
The Kremlin press secretary noted that bilateral relations are complicated, but they do not prevent peoples from developing ties.
“Georgia, our neighbor.” You are aware of all the complexities in our bilateral relationships, but they do not prevent the development and strengthening of humanitarian ties among the peoples and societies of the two countries. “People continue to travel to Georgia, and Russia,” said the Kremlin press secretary.
