A documentary about a camp set up by university students has been released online. The camp was made in front of the Serbian Presidency building.
The documentary, called Chameleon, shows life inside the camp where students have been living for several days. Two students from the Belgrade Arts University School of Drama Arts (FDU) made the film. They snuck into the camp to get footage.
The students who set up the camp were given a funny name – Caci. This was because one of them spelled the word “student” wrong in Cyrillic letters. They originally called themselves “Students 2.0 Who Want to Study”. They wanted classes to resume and opposed university blockades.
A caption on the documentary says: “They are students 2.0 who organized their camp in the park, Caciland. He is the Chameleon and this is his greatest secret mission.”
Many students went to see the film when it premiered at FDU and the Belgrade Student Culture Center (SKC).
