Sergei Melikov, the leader of Dagestan, confirmed that a drone was attacked. He said that air forces had “shot down one over Kaspiysk,” but he did not provide any details on potential damage.
The Caspian Flotilla, a Russian naval force operating in the Caspian Sea, is a Russian unit. The flotilla launched cruise-missiles from its warship while its 177th Marine regiment participated in combat operations in Kherson Oblast and Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
