**Russian Spokeswoman Gets Call Not to Comment on Ukraine Missile Strike**
A surprising event happened during a press briefing by Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova. On November 21, she was told not to comment on the latest ballistic missile attacks on Ukraine.
The briefing took place after a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro that day. If confirmed, it would be the first time an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) had been used in war.
During the briefing, Zakharova received a call from an unknown man who told her: “Masha, our ballistic missile strikes… are not commented on at all.” Zakharova replied: “Yes, thank you.”
A recording of the exchange has been shared online and through various media outlets. Zakharova later said that the call was to clarify whether the Foreign Ministry could comment on the topic.
**Investigation into Ukraine Missile Strike Ongoing**
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced an investigation is ongoing. He noted that the missile’s speed and altitude suggested intercontinental ballistic capabilities.
The Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne reported, citing unnamed law enforcement sources, that Russia used a Rubezh ICBM capable of carrying nuclear warheads during the attack.
