**Ukrainian Man Arrested in Amsterdam Stabbing Attack**
A 30-year-old Ukrainian man from Donetsk Oblast has been detained by Dutch police in connection with a stabbing attack that injured five people in central Amsterdam. The incident occurred on March 27 near the Dam Square.
According to the police, the suspect had checked into an Amsterdam hotel on March 26 and attacked several people with knives the next day. He was subdued with the help of passers-by and suffered a leg wound.
The victims included a man and a woman from the U.S., a woman from Belgium, a man from Poland, and a local resident between the ages of 19 and 73. Four of them remain hospitalized.
**Russia Launches Drone Attack on Ukraine**
In other news, Russia launched over 20 drones against Ukraine late on March 28, although most were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. The attack caused damage to high-rise buildings, houses, a school, and a car wash.
Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the disbursement of $400 million in funds for Ukraine via the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
**Ukraine Seeks Additional Military Aid**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on March 28 that his country is working to finalize agreements with European nations for additional military aid shipments as well as expanded intelligence sharing ahead of the next Ramstein summit.
**Russia Intensifies Efforts in Kursk Region**
The Ukrainian operation appears to be aimed at diverting Russian forces as Moscow intensifies efforts to push Kyiv‘s troops out of Kursk.
