**European Commissioner Hopes Vulin Won’t Be in New Serbian Government**
European Commissioner Marta Kos spoke to N1 Slovenia about her hopes for the future of Serbia. She said that someone who doesn’t want Europe can’t lead Serbia into it at the same time.
The interview was about Serbia’s relations with Russia and the role of outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin. Vulin had given an interview to a Russian news agency after meeting with European leaders. He thanked them for helping in fighting student protests and said Serbia should be part of the BRICS alliance, which includes Russia and China.
Kos was asked about this. She replied that she hoped Vulin would no longer be in government. She said someone who doesn’t want Europe can’t lead it into the EU at the same time.
