**Latvian President Speaks Out Against Repression in Georgia**
The Latvian President, Edgars Rinkevičs, has spoken out against the repression of peaceful demonstrators in Georgia. He made these comments at a press conference in Klaipeda, Lithuania, alongside the Presidents of Lithuania and Estonia.
According to President Rinkevičs, Georgia now has a choice to make about its future relationship with the European Union. He said that it is up to the Georgian people to decide whether they want to continue on the path towards EU membership or stop.
President Rinkevičs also condemned the repression against peaceful demonstrators in Georgia, saying that this behavior is not compatible with the values of a country seeking to join the European Union.
