**Edinburgh Council Leader Suspended**
Cammy Day, the leader of Edinburgh City Council, has been suspended. This is due to an investigation into his behavior towards Ukrainian refugee women.
**Allegations Made**
According to The Sunday Mail, Mr. Day sent messages and added some of these women on a dating site without their consent. He allegedly asked them questions that were not suitable for work or public life. Some women said they felt uncomfortable because of who he was.
**Concerns Raised**
The Ukrainian Consulate in Edinburgh has expressed concern about the incident. They want to protect the rights and dignity of Ukrainian citizens who have come to Scotland due to the war in Ukraine.
**Investigation Ongoing**
Police received a report on October 22 about Mr. Day’s behavior. An investigation is ongoing to find out more details. The council leader will stay suspended until this process is complete.
