**Activist Refuses to Back Down**
Elene Khoshtaria, a leader of the “Coalition for Change,” has made it clear that she will not cooperate with Russian authorities. In a Facebook post, she warned them: “Stop scrambling, you won’t be able to do anything to me anyway.”
Khoshtaria was detained by police in a previous incident and subjected to violence and degrading treatment. She claims that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has used propaganda channels to follow her around and ask why she’s not demanding the release of footage related to her detention.
**The Detention Incident**
Khoshtaria points out that the authorities are trying to smear her further by fabricating excuses for their actions. In a statement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs essentially confirmed the incident but tried to justify it by saying she was given medication and undressed as a result.
**No Cooperation**
Khoshtaria made it clear that she will not cooperate with Russian authorities in any way. She wrote: “I do not cooperate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the courts, the parliament, Razhden, any commissions, or any other illegitimate Russian entity.”
**A Warning to Authorities**
In a bold statement, Khoshtaria warned the authorities that they will be held accountable for their actions. She wrote: “You won’t be able to do anything to me anyway—and in the end, you will all be held accountable for every single incident and for violating the dignity of every person.”
